feb 8th 2025 update: a friend of mine was given some parts to build her system, but was given the incorrect ram. i bought her the correct ram, and asked if i could just have the ram that wouldn't work with her system, and she said yes, which is how i ended up with a weird ram total. i wouldn't ever buy extra ram for myself, so it was a nice addition to my computer!
